Southern Tier
On New Years Day 2008 a cross-country bicycle ride left from Newport Beach, CA and finished in Key West on Earth Day 2008. The main goal of the riders / film makers was to capture environmental perspective from the regions they rode through.
Many scientists say we are living in a pivotal time when it comes to the environmental decisions we make today. We are reminded that the clock is ticking nearly everyday. What information is getting through to people? Who’s taking action? What does current science tell us and what do different religions say about a spiritual connection to the planet?
These are some of the questions that the bike riders asked along their 3.5 month journey across the Southern Tier of the United States.
